FAQ

What are RA-4 colour photographic prints?

Once you've shot your roll of film and dropped it off for processing, it will be developed in C41 chemistry and scanned to make digital images of your negatives.

However you can also take those same negatives and enlarge them onto photographic paper to make prints in RA-4 chemistry.

I have been specializing in colour photographic RA-4 prints since 2015, and now I'm offering that service to the photo community.

Individual 8x10 prints will be made from the negatives you have chosen.

When will my film be processed?

Turnaround time is within a week, but usually much sooner.

What happens to my negatives?

All negatives are cut and sleeved into archival storage. On the film order form you can select to have your negatives mailed back, picked up at the vending machine, or thrown away if you do not need them.

What scanners do you use?

I use a Pakon F135 for all 35mm film.

I use a frontier SP2000 for all medium format film.

How do I get my film processed?

Fill out a film order form and drop off at the vending machine, located inside Collective Espresso in Newport, KY. Subject to their hours.
